As a young teenager, I always found it hard to feel like I belonged somewhere . . .”

“As a young teenager, I always found it hard to feel like I belonged somewhere and be apart of a family. Especially being in the child care services at a very early age. Consistent bullying and rejection, feeling weak and incompetent; made it even harder to feel like I had a purpose.  But when I came to breaking walls, it opened up doors to a renowned me and just a more happy and social me. Writing, performing as an ensemble, creating new connections and friends, makes it almost surreal. Me going to Michigan this year, even the slightest thought makes me estatic. I can’t wait to grow, learn, aspire and adapt a new family.”
