breaking walls

The Breaking Walls Executive Director and Founder, Fran Tarr, will receive the inaugural Pathways to Peace 2025 Peace Building through the Arts Award.

This is the fourth annual Exceptional Women of Peace Awards Program. Pathways To Peace considers this yearly ceremony their “feel-good” event of the year. It is so heartwarming and inspiring to hear from the award recipients— their stories of courage, strength, and determination. These champions for peace often work in the most challenging circumstances. When Pathways to Peace honors its awardees, it celebrates all women who have the vision and courage to build peace in our world. You inspire us!

On this honor, Fran shares, “When Pathways to Peace shared with me that the Building Peace through the Arts Award has been created because they felt my work is very valuable and needed its own category of recognition!

“Proudly, I stand alongside these extraordinary global peace-making leaders from Gaza and the EU Commission for Civil Rights, united in our commitment to peace and acceptance.”

Please join Fran and the other recipients for inspiration!
