BW Breaking New: 2026 Cape Town Community-Based Oasis Program Starts Soon

Breaking Walls defines its Community-Based Oasis Program as bringing together small groups of young people from diverse cultures to create and perform their original theater piece over a five-day retreat.

We’re so excited to welcome the 2026 artists to our amazing global creative family! We’re even more excited to share thoughts about the upcoming Oasis program featuring three 2026 Cape Town artists!

ZIM:

Zim Jack, New Breaking Walls Artist. (Rainbow Dreams Trust Philippi Club).

I am so happy that I am going to Breaking Walls for the first time. I have always wished to be chosen for Breaking Walls, and my leaders finally chose me. I thank them for giving me this opportunity, and I promise to give it my all and enjoy myself.

NOAH:

Noah Stanley – Elsies River High School – Grade 11:A

I would love to attend this camp and experience the wonder of Drama and the art of acting. This Oasis program will help me get to know club members and people from different schools and experience different personalities.

It will also build my stage confidence and help me feel more confident in my acting.

WAYLON:

Waylon Klaasen – Elsies River High School – Grade 11:A

I am very excited to be part of Breaking Walls/RDT Oasis Program because I will learn many things, bond with different people, and learn how to be a better leader.

I hope it will be fun and active because I am an active, adventurous person, and I hope it will be worthwhile.
