Luna’s Truth

My name is Luna and I am a student at the Paula-Fürst Schule in Berlin. Last week the Breaking Walls team visited us for a week. The week was full of great experiences and good feelings.

My favorite game was the “ping“ game to learn the names of our team members. It was fun and made our class know this experience would be different than our regular class time.

My favorite writing trigger was “What is your truth?”.  It showed how deeply I feel about the lack of trust around me . . .

Truth is fairness. Fairness is especially in school very important. At the beginning of the year,

I realized that the truth even if you try to say it into the face of the people that are around you, the gossip is still louder.

If you are looking at our generation you will realize that we can’t trust the news or the description on the packaging, who and what can we trust?

We are taking classes in being honest with ourselves. But truth should be something easy, something normal and something with certainty.

I think our society should learn how to be honest to ourselves. That is my truth, what’s yours?

And at the end of the week, the performance, it was amazing! To share our work with our family and friends was a great feeling. The work that I presented, I put my heart and soul into it.

Now I am so grateful to be a part of the big and international Breaking Walls family.
